The documentary follows the cycle over 7 days where 150 brave individuals tackle the roads and weather, travelling through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Ireland from Malin Head through Letterkenny, and Sligo down to Westport, and Galway, then on to Limerick and Kenmare, finishing in Mizen Head.

Through interviews with the participants, Against the Wind reflects on the heartache of loss through cancer, the strength of character it takes to rebuild lives and the battle against the illness,  and also highlights the camaraderie, humour and support network that comes with the C.R.O.S.S rugby legends cycle.
